Hourly Schedule
Saturday – 06 July
- Bush camping
- Depart from Gauteng, and drive via Alldays to Pontdrift border post, where we will enter Botswana. After border formalities we enter the famous Tuli Block and follow the gravel roads and tracks to our wilderness camp – no ablutions
Monday – 08 July
- Camping
- Long day, as we drive via Francistown (where we stop to buy fresh produce and meat) to Tantebane Game Ranch. Camping with ablutions.
Tuesday – 09 July
- Bush Camping
- From Tantebane we follow the dusty tracks around Sowa Pan to the magical and mysterious Kubu Island – nothing beats sundowners on the Pans Bush Camping – long drop toilet
Wednesday – 10 July
- Camping
- Follow the 4×4 tracks in a northerly direction, before hitting the tar road to Elephant Sands.
Thursday – 11 July
- Camping
- Futher north along this wild remote area, past Pandamatenga to our next wilderness delight – Chobe Forest Camp. Camping with good ablutions
Friday – 12 July
- Camping
- Day visit to Kasane and the beautiful Chobe riverfront. Loads of activities to choose from. Highly recommended: Afternoon game viewing & sunset boat cruise Afterwards we drive the 40 km back to our campsite at Chobe Forest Camp Camping with good ablutions
Saturday – 13 July
- Camping
- Depart reluctantly from this paradise, and use the main road south to once again camp at Tantebane Game Ranch. Camping with good ablutions
Sunday – 14 July
- Home via Martinsdrift border post
